@clearly didnt say you have not but aspartame is not the answer as it make things worst. If you have a peanut allergy do they go and find a fake version NO they stay away, same with heaps of people with allergies and intolerance. You have a sugar allergy/intolerance basically so do what they all do live with out as my friend and dad has too. Like many people have too, with their foods they cant have. Fake sugar not your friend you get sick from it. You been warned what you do is your choice .

  2. clearly says:

@mrhythe49 ……. What makes you think I havent checked all of the alternatives?
And are Australian doctors incorruptable? It seems that since we cant trust doctors and we certainly cant trust the manufacturers we have to make our own choices.
Cane sugar, mollases, honey etc are still sugar and have no business in our blood at high levels. No added suger seem to be the best option pending further advice

  3. mrhythe49 says:

@clearly As I said above, my dad diabetic as a close friend both see different specialist and both have said FAKE SUGAR IS A NO NO for diabetic. It can make things worst if anything. I would get a 2nd opinion seems like over in the USA even people there are getting paid off to say its ok to have it. (At least in Australia we get the REAL answer) so not net pure information from specialist that its NOT OK I would check that out before you die from fake sugar!

  4. clearly says:

@mrhythe49 I was told the H1N1 inoculation woukd kill me. I had it five months ago and no side effects. Who’s advice would you take? Your doctors and diabetes specialist or someone on the internet? I have used “Aspartame for four years and have nothing wrong with me, except the diabetes that is, otherwise all is well.
I would agree that no sweetener is probably best.

  5. mrhythe49 says:

@clearly OMG your diabetic nurse said it was ok.. NO its not for diabetic can cause so many issue with diabetic and they told to stay away from it.

  6. SlateSteel says:

I don’t believe any man-made chemical is safe for consumption. Whoever thought that it was a good idea to promote this stuff as a healthy alternative to sugar or even a food substance is insane.

My alternative to sugar would be molasses, brown rice syrup, malted barley syrup, or erythritol.

do some more research on Aspertame. I like “to follow the money”.
How did Aspertame come on the market and by whoom?
Can we trust the company Monsanto (buyer of Asp co), who
is vieing for global domination of the food seed market?
    The now own Aspertame.

There are other substitutes for sugar, that are not brain eatting
chemicals. They cost more, but I know you are worth it.
    Check some of my faves.
    Peace, Msky

  8. raspberrybaggio says:

aspartame causes me temporary blindness! Please don’t use it. I sweeten my porridge with raisins and sultanas. Lovely and natural.

  9. talusan909 says:

artificial sugar is not safe. My alternative is don’t use it , it’s not going to kill you without it.

  10. Juhli909 says:

I like Pure Maple syrup best then honey, then cane sugar.

  11. clearly says:

@mskydolphin I have done a google search and most say aspartame is bad, however my doctor and the diabetic nurse assure me its perfectly safe and use it themselves. Who am I supposed to believe?

  12. mskydolphin says:

    @clearly
Do a google search on “The dangers of Aspartame”
    also “The dangers of Fluoride”

    You are worth it.
    Peace

  13. mskydolphin says:

    @DemiTrusdale
There are no “side effects”. Those effects, are the Effects.
The drug companies have many people brainwashed into
thinking that ’side effects’ are not “effects”.

PS I like Xilotol, to heck with price, I’m worth it : )
    (Powder, Chewing gum, Non-Fluoride Toothpaste)
    Peace

  14. DemiTrusdale says:

wow… i kinda feel bad for typing now >.>

  15. DemiTrusdale says:

every artificial sweetener i’ve encountered had a side effect or two. and fell into some wierd process… it’s praised on tv, followers of the product get sick from it, reports of such side effects get reported then ignored, then uncovered in someone’s conspiracy report. people get wise to it, and either continue to consume it or move on the next artificial substitute being hocked. (a)aspartame, (b)saccarin, (c)splenda, (d)high fructose corn syrup,

  16. HealthRanger7 says:

    Great video!

  17. ReeferbagRyan says:

    no. Pure cane sugar

  18. sean6666666 says:

    .
powdered sweetners do not effect my blood sugar levels and because one of the symptoms of being diabetic is that you piss a lot , it gets flushed out of the system much more quickly than in a healthy person.
the at risk group have 6 more times the risk of heart attacks /strokes/blindness/etc from eating the sugars that are in cakes/biscuits/ etc etc that if you crave sweet things then powdered sugar with your breakfast to stop you eating sweet things during the day is the lesser evil IMO

  19. robshaps says:

Agave, honey, natural cane sugar, and perhaps stevia

  20. Kyocus says:

not safe, just sugar, brown sugar, and honey for me :)

  21. Chikin1ninjas says:

No. Honey, maple syrup, evaporated cane juice, turbinado.

  22. anurre5 says:

    @SteveFusionX
    I’ve heard that too!

  23. anurre5 says:

Honey, stevia or a combination of the two.

  24. clearly says:

Still totaly confused. My doctor and diabetic nurse tells me aspartane is perfectly safe. Everyone has a diffferent story.

  25. kittykatt1120 says:

I prefer agave nector. Stevia is good, but I don’t like the after taste. MoroccanSword, I call sugar “sweet crack”. It is additive, leads to inflammation throughout your body and it is very BAD for you. Not sure how you figure it isn’t.
